from a special perspective even after you are repeating the points from
different websites. Optimizing your content means that using the proper
keywords and increasing the readability. We have discussed keywords in the next
point, so let us provide you some points to keep in mind for increasing
readability of content.
• 1# Use Heading
Tags like Heading 1 to Heading 6 as often and as required.
• 2# Do not write
more than 300 words under each heading tag.
• 3# Make
paragraphs small to increase readability. Keep in mind that a paragraph should
not have more than five sentences unless it is required. This will also make
your article look elaborate ad audiences love to read an elaborate article when
it is presented beautifully.
• 4# Whenever there
is a scope, include an image. Colorful and illustrative relevant images keep
the audiences engaged.
• 5# Avoid using
passive voices as far as you can as it is considered negative from SEO
perspective. Do not write a sentence with more than 20 words. The audience always
loves to read small meaningful sentences.
2. Keyword Optimization –
Keyword is the main ingredient in on-page optimization.
Search engines rank your articles based on your keywords. Keywords are
generally the words around which you are writing an article. For example, the
main keyword of this article is SEO. Other keywords are on-page SEO, Off-page
SEO. You must use only those keywords that have high demand, i.e., people are
searching articles with those keywords. There are many tools to do that research
to find the keywords you must be using for any given topic.
Use your main keyword or keyword in the title. Your title is
the TRP of your article. Hence, it should be exactly what people are searching
for. For example, if you are writing an article on online money making
opportunities and the keywords you have chosen are make money online, your
title should be how to make money online every day. It includes the main
keyword, it is catchy, and it is exactly the question with which a person
searches on the internet. If your off-page SEO is great, you have chances of
making it on the first page of search engine.
3. Keyword Density -
Keyword density is the percentage of the main keywords you
are using while writing the keyword. For example, if you the main keyword 20
times in a 1000 words article, your keyword density in 2%. It is a good
practice not to keep the density of the main keyword/keywords more than 2.5%.
You can use main keyword as well as other supporting keywords to form your
article. Most importantly, use the keywords in the first paragraph as 2-3 time
but make sure you do not stuff it forcefully in every sentence as it leads to
keyword stuffing. Keyword stuffing is considered bad from SEO perspective.
